I was in Palau in March. It was amazing. I lived in the Philippines at that time. When I returned, the Pinoy diving became kind of hum drum. Diving in PH is great at times, dont get me wrong. It was just not the same after the colorful vastness of Palau. Im off to the Similan Islands in December. I am not sure that it will compare either. For those of you who have dived in Palau, did you use reef hooks? Im still on the fence about the ecology of this practice to be honest.

Just came back from Palau. As guamania said.."Palau is where God goes on vacation!" If you dive, you MUST go there. Make sure you have a few dives in before you go. There can be some strong currents.

Go to Palau first. Palau is WAY BETTER than Guam.
