this plane is gonna be built in India and exported to russia and other countries under russian guidance of course.not bad for a first aircraft eh?look at it this way the russies can't order enough to break even, the chinks are bastards who will copy this like J11B copy of su-27 and russia is frozen from western markets it works both ways but ours will get the CFM powerplants the ruskies get theirs with the PS12 engine.

The project started in 2001...it's 2008...isn't it high time that the project gets completed by now?

Read the other comment by adknat:Globemaster is 4 Engined and this is two engined aircraft. Copy ???? Does that mean that a Honda since is having an engine in the front is copying toyota which also is having an engine in the front...Sheesh mindless comments... Also, you have 2 eyes, 2 arms and 2 legs. So am I. I think you are my copy, isn't it?

C-390 has 8 ton capability.C-130 propuse size.
Maloross (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Compared to the An-70 and Tu-330 this project appears it will never fly. The Tu-330 allows for 2 times more cargo capacity in nearly the same sized aircraft. It would use new generation prop-fan engines for better fuel efficiency and range.
Maloross (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Correction An-72-300.
Maloross (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
How many Brazilian C-390 have left the ground? What you are thinking of is An-74-200, 2 jet engine transport. And its current development, the An-148. Both of which have flown and are not paper models. |
