I read Hitchens, Dawkins, I've read "Theology and Falsification" by Antony Flew. Guys Like Dembski and Behe have already been exposed as shams. Basically arguing that The Designer of ID is, ultimately, the Christian God. "The Design Of Life" was almost unreadable. Now, if that sounds like I'm slamming you down or going off on you, it's really not my intention. Once they can get ID taught in public schools, I'll give it a chance, I promise. Now can we both move on so we can watch more videos?

Who do you read? Where and what journals? Any articles or books? And no, some video you watched from PBS instead doing of a book report in 6th grade doesn't count. I ask so I can start where you are, giving information where you need, instead of slamming you down or going off on you. There's been too much of that. So to the subject of your sources: I have no problem with verifiable proof either, so lay on me your proof, not the spin moves.

It doesn't matter what I say, you're going to continue to claim I haven't proven anything. And that's fine, but absence of proof for the theory of evolution does not automatically make a case for ID. I'm all set to say "Hell yea, a higher power DEFINITELY started this all!" But until ID comes up with a scientific theory instead of just insisting that absence of proof of the THEORY of evolution proves ID, then it is not to be taken seriously.

Evolution doesn't answer questions it ignores & unlike good science & freedom of intellect, it's proponents do not allow inquiry ever. As to human intelligence as proof, Masteroiece, I offer you that anything someone wants to dismiss as non-proof they'll find some cheap-reason to do so. I just hope people can find a way to respect soundly discuss issues, in a thoughtful way, discussing with the honorable opposition. That's far better then sensationalistic arm-chair philosophy, don't you think?

vet3shaw, I support your argument because there is no evidence other than the human intellegence about the PERFECT creation of the universe. As a M.D everything is too perfect to be just a coincidence. THERE IS A GOD!!!!

Dodging my questions haven't proven very helpful in your assertions. Let us know: how do you know the fossil evidence shows this? Tell us about where the DNA evidence shows this? (I ask not out of ignorance, but to show you AGAIN you dismiss despite no evidence on your side.) Wanton ignorance is not helping your case. To help you on the matter, look up the trouble with nuclear biology. In particular, dependent systems can not have evolved out of lesser systems randomly. Give one case.

Murder is as wrong as trying to control a mother's body, I agree with you there. A woman should be able to make a choice for her life. Her choice is important. So whose to speak for the heart-beating child inside her reaching for her? We should give her a chance too.

I never tried to imply that Darwin's Theory is 100% fact. We know it's not. But evolution is a fact. Although fossil evidence sufficiently shows the fact of evolution, even more compelling evidence now comes from DNA testing. Intelligent Design is based on anti-evolution and that's why it's not recognized in just about every educational establishment. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is.

By the way, for you to dismiss Intelligent Design, you'd have to know it. Is it fair for me to assume you know what I'm talking about? Probably not. So, Nut, what's Intelligent Design? And just to speed the conversation (it's finals week!) what is Intelligent Design in contrast to Creationism? Y'know, some people think they are the same thing, because some people are closed minded. I'm guessing you aren't, since you've kept talking. Starting to seem out of sorts tho... hang loose.
