The Bush family makes me sick-the whole neighborhood here thinks they are robbing us blind!

That is the truth no doubt about it.

Yeah, we'll have to hope. But I don't trust that Obama has his heart in the right place. I guess only time will tell.

Hi larma, reverting to your earlier comment, we are ALL part of the problem. I think a good way to think of Obama is not as a powerful king who is choosing to compromise the good of the people, but as a union leader who can only get the best deal he can. Lawyer Nader looks at the world from that lens, not what is achievable LEADING.Let's help Obama to get the best deal he can, and at the same time, work to change the game for the better outside the governmental paradigm altogether.

I'm all for giving Obama a chance, but there is no way that I'm going to trust him!

larma7 I am well aware that saying "change" doesn't make it happen. Try to be calm.Think. Go beyond what sounds most radical. Gravel, Kucinich and Nader were toast from the get-go. I'd seen Kucinich's campaign in 2004. G&K never raised any money, and all three lacked the necessary charisma.Paul was different-I supported him, but Paul out, the choice was Obama and McCain/Palin.Forget the emo-propaganda of the campaign. Time to work with Obama for the general welfare.

I agreed with everything you said until . . . "Obama 08"HE is part of the problem!!! Saying "change" doesn't actually make it happen! There were people who ran which wanted to actually CHANGE things, but you cling to ilk like Obama.Total bull-shit!

The true sad reality is whether or not you believe what this enlightened man said there is very little you as an individual can do about it. So much for so called freedom and democracy.

This is such a saddening reality. The fact is I'm sure those people in the audience went home and went on to live their lives like it was just a show and put no real thought into what they just heard. |
