Because SFOD-1 works for the Pentagon. Just like DEVGRU SEALs.

well technically the Delta Force are under no specific branch and the US government neither confirms nor denies their existence.

Ehh, special ops are all the same to me. They just work under a certain branch of the military.

I think USAF Combat Controllers have the best job, my personal favorite anyway, then the SEALS. I hear the British SBS operators are some tough hombres too..

Everyone, Gary is right. All members of the U. S. Armed Services should be respectful of the other warriors who are willing to shed their blood right beside you. I completely understand the competitiveness between the service branches. But if I, a former U.S. Army S.O.F. Soldier can post these videos showing the U.S. Air Force's S.O.F. Airmen, then let others follow my lead and respect all S.O.F. regardless of branch. Thank you and may God bless all who have served!

PJs and CCT have highly specialized roles, and that's what they are designed for. In essence, they are the core of AFSOC. However, my assertion will still be the same: they are meant to do their job, and the Army has superior capability in the SOCOM realm.

Unless of course you are talking as a whole, which IMO it would be best if you stated your actual rank. |
