What's scary is that this is the same brand of fascism that's brainwashing children in the Middle East today. Anyone remember Farfour the Mouse as he tried to tell Palestinian children to become martyrs for Allah and their homeland?

(To the comment's so far)@king Peterl, German women are some of the most beutiful and intelegent women in the world. Also, yes I know that Conquistador is a Spanish word, in English it's Conqueror. I put it in my username to identify with both my Mexican and de facto, my Spanish past. Also yes, it is spelled Conquistador, with an A, your the dumbass.@wtatz, I knew the info about the coloumn long before, I was raised in Germany, and I know my country's history well.

The reason it's reversed is, in his speeches, the way it was used was, Hitler would shout "Seig!" and the crowd would reply "Heil!" As far as I've ever seen in the newsreels, no one ever actually said "Seig Heil!" as a single phrase...that only occured in the movies.

Excellent words from someone who has only googled the information provided in his comments here and yes, it is a very valid part of German history, even though not all Germans were Nazis or even supported Hitler.
wtatz (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Actually....it's spelled "Sieg Heil" and it technically means "Victory Hail", not "Hail Victory". You wouldn't even reverse the words in translation because you only move the verbs around when there are 2 or more verbs in a sentence...As for GermanConquistador - not only is Conquistador a SPANISH word, but common is not spelled with an 'a' you dumbass.

You need to read some more history. Hitler didn't immediately start world war II the instant he came to power...it took many years for him to build his power base and war machine. The cartoon is based on a Book called "education for Death" which was, itself, based on what Hitler SAID he wanted to do, in a little book called "Mein Kamf"...which, as you will note, has a cameo appearance in this little gem.

How could the people be so stupid? The war didn't last long enough for any children born in it to grow up and become soldiers. :/Oh well, still, a great cartoon. Considering what it was made for, of course.

"Oh my god, this is not right" Shut up ! Is to explain the U.S. children about what was happening at that time in Nazi Germany. Maybe Disney did it by request of the U.S. government. In this days U.S. goverment tells the citizens, arabs are terrorists, russian are enemies, put embargos to Cuba, etcetera.

And it qualifies as one of the darkest Disney animated shorts ever made. |
