Jeff Jarret and Kurt Angle (creative control done poorly), Dixie Carter (horrid new management), Russo (shoddy storylines), Cornette (on-screen personality with a different off-screen view), etc. Sound familiar? The nwo & Goldberg, Time Warner (after Turner folded WCW over), Russo, and Bischoff...WCW 2.0, plain and simple!

TherealRNO: yeah russo did have a role in the death of wcw but it wasn't all him and i thought wcw was bad but tnas ppv last sunday was one their worst ppv ever and people were chanting fire russo like it was ALL his fault hes not the one idiots it's jeff jarrett,Dixie Carter and Dutch Mantel are the reasons that tna is not a treat to wwe i mean look at the angle vs jerrett, angle made comments about jerretts wife and what he do headlooks in the match! wow Tna no wounder U guys sux

AChildOfBodom/luisgarciaisgod/ Mikey2448: Indeed, The Phenom did say in the "This is My Yard" DVD that the Corporate Ministry being formed was the lowest point of his career--at that time--because it put the focus on the McMahons instead of himself. And though many disliked the biker days, they were part of the reinvention of the Taker character and The Deadman himself said that he was able to be more true to himself as the biker.

nation: Actually, it was Russo, the nWo & Goldberg, and new management that killed WCW, for in WCW, Russo was un-resctricted (thereby allowing him to write The Fingerpoke of Doom & other crap angles), the nWo & Goldberg were given creative control & their winning drove competition down (sort of like how WWE now lacks competition, given that it owns its WWF archives, the WCW & ECW archives, and 'cause TNA is being a poor man's crappy WCW), & the new non-Turner management hated wrestling period.
