I thought that smith had more "brush technique" but hamilton was very musical in his playing. both are definatley amazing though.

This is an awesome video. Steve Smith is one of the best drummers of all time, he knows so much. They are both amazing.

I've been playing drums for many years. Jeff does not ONCE mess up. In fact, his swing feel is much deeper and his brush sound is fatter. Keep in mind he plays brushes on every gig at least a few times a night. Where as Smith is a much all around player. I'm just amazed that Smith can even hang in there that well. Both amazing.
