the black dahlia murder is less esoteric than decrepit birth, i find it easy for the everyday metal head to enjoy TBDM. Decrepit Birth which is one of my favorite bands is more like DEATH where it takes the more authentic and aesthetically curious metal heads to enjoy, like myself ha. They are both great bands.
