EVERYTHING.And I'm not just saying that either, because I'm from New York City.Go outside Downtown Atlanta, which is kinda small (once again, I compare everything to NYC) then you find the real ghetto

That's not true!! There are a few areas that are "poverty stricken" i guessed you'd say but over all Atlanta is one of the most incredible places to live or visit.. I am a native but I've traveled with my job and also lived in other places across this country and I don't see Atlanta being the worst.. Maybe you were in the Ghetto your entire visit.. tons of places " Midtown, Buckhead, lil 5points, The Vinings, So many other areas.. All have entertainment, shopping, residents

It's called gentrification!!! I am a native of Atlanta.. I've witness every major change over the last 20 years or so.. Houses that used to cost you on average from 50-75k are not about 250k - 500k.. Real talk!!! My grandmother sold her home (which i told her not to) that she built in the 60's for less than 35k for close to 300k 2 years ago..

Population data shows that more and more blacks are leaving the city and moving into the suburbs, particularly to the east of the city. Why? The low income blacks are leaving as many of the housing projects (Bowen homes) are being demolished to make way for urban renewal. Other blacks are opting for more affordable housing in the suburbs. More and more whites and educated professionals of all races are moving into the city to be closer to their jobs, nightlife, etc.

I cosign! What major city doesn't have its rough areas? Southside Chicago, Eastside St. Louis...the list goes on. There's more to Atlanta than what you know from the hip hop world. There are lots of nice, historically preserved, and charming neigborhoods. For example....Avondale Estates, Downtown College Park, East Lake, Grant Park, etc..
