would bass strings even fit in the nut and the headstock? O.o
MFHCFH (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
acctularly kerry king uses 46-10 for normal tuning, and 56-10 for drop. Trivium probably the same, and they aren't heavier than machine head because player are famous for songs in e flat, and trivium, drop d and nor mal/7strings. Plus yeh Zakk Wylde uses 60-10, i know all this becuase i've tried KK and ZW strings, Mh are my fav band/insperation though

there are bands who use much heavier y'know..slayer, slipknot and trivium (and others) use 56-12...thickest guitar strings around, unless you're crazy enough to put bass ones in o.0

GHS are string makers. He's saying they use heavy gauge guitar strings. And Boomers are very, well bright and loud. Boom, you know? |
