What we think and what we do are completely different, though.Problem is, I try to teach others to stand up for themselves, that what Carlin said was true. The politicians ARE owned by others who are faceless. Most, however, just want to watch tv and think the government will save them from that same government that is fucking them.People will just bitch then when we become a full police state and say we had no way to stop it.

Actually Bush cheated in both elections. In reality he lost both elections by narrow margins. He swindled his way into office both times. America just kinda rolled over and let him do it.

to limeyBoy15:I agree. I was in europe this summer and faced a lot of stereotyping for being American. Truth is, I understand why we're stereotyped. We elected Bush TWICE. Thanks to the internet, more and more people are catching on that the media is controlled by the corporations. The senate and congress are controlled by the corporations. Everything is controlled by the corporations. Lets hope we can take back our country and reverse the awful things our government has done.

Its funny to see on here exactly what Americans REALLY think of their government.over here we get fed the steriotype that all Americans are gun weilding idiots who use the bible as a license to kill but if these comments are anything to go by, American citizens are really being pushed to far, something tells me that sooner or later the citizens of America are gonna want back their rights and if the government doesnt play its cards right it could end VERY badly for them.
