i imagine you'd need quite a bit of pressure / "surface area"? not easy in a light-weight config. :o)

On-Board Oxygen Generation System. passes bleed air through a molecular sieve and seperate oxygen then checks it for quality and feeds it to the pilots' mask. Its Mil Spec so that makes units hard to come by.

gliders have been known to go higher, and yes oxygen can be an issue. getting really cold seems to be more of an issue.

10, 000 would have to be the limit, without oxygen you'd suffer hypoxia or even further anoxia right?i had to learn about that in my Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course |
