The method of his music was like making love. Our generation was so lucky to see and here this Master. He will be forever rememberd in my heart as the Grandfather of the Guitar.I wish I could say the words in Spanish what he did to Music..Master.

there might be a ton of musicians technically better than segovia, he may not be the best teacher as they say. but one thing he did, secure the instrument's (guitar) future. to make it well known. it's not even part of the orchestra before. they may argue about his techniques, all i can say is thank the man, he did a good job.

we have our own preferences, each music and musician has its own character. you cant say who's better and who sucks. learn reading notes and transcribing. learn arranging and you'll start to appreciate music more. there is no bad music, only bad judgment.

While I don't worship any guitarist, I think you're missing an important point here and being unfair to an important musician. Music is an emotional art, and excessive tempo tends to sap emotion from a piece unless it's used as just one part of a spectrum. If you want to hear Segovia blasting through a string of notes, see his recordings of Sor's "Variations on a Theme of Mozart," a piece suited to occasional rapid tempos.

u only know how to play guitar hero so what what do u know about playing a REAL guitar. speed is actually not important. the important thing is if it sounds good DUMBASS!
