true...but Germany alone wouldnt let american bombers even near their towns and cities but they were overhwelmed by allies in the west to have that happen.

Yes Damyhanna something like that scenario you suggest is shown in the movie "Fatherland" with Rutger Hauer. A great fiction film indeed.By the way, if you follow the reasoning behind the film, (Fatherland) we all would be talking in german right now :)By the way WHAT A MAJESTIC SEQUENCE THIS ONE OF THE "STALINGRAD". GREAT FILM !!!

Well, for a nation the size of Ger. and compared to what they had...six ships....that's hardly a navy. As for the six year wonder, Hitler had them print the bills based on the work, production, and services of the people. And no intrest loans. When the people saw that they could become well off through their work....well we see what happened. The Amer. colonies and Abram Linc. did the same thing. Colonial Script and Greenbacks. Bankers don't want the truth to get out.

Yup good ol DR Hjalmar Schacht redevlopment plan and use of ersatz goods to create autarky which was working brilliantly till he disaproved of Nazi attitudes towards the Jews which got him replaced by Goerings 4 year plan which started in erm 1936? only for it not to finnish as Germany invaded Poland in 1939.I have GCSE's and A-Levels in History and have studied Nazi Germany for 5 years so I know a little bit :)And they did have a navy but only 6 battleships :)x

Hmmmm, so you know about the prototype "flying wing" that the Germans were working on. Which the americans "convienetlly" stole at the end of the war. I didn't mention it before because too few people know about it. :) Hey, do you know how Ger. went from being below Mex. to threatning the whole world in only SIX YEARS! Sarted with No airforce,tank or navy &a 100,000 man army.
