There are many totems and spirit friends that walk, swim, fly and inhabit these great lands. The Native people's kindship is from a deeper insight and connection than could ever be achieved by implanted civilizations into the Sacred Lands. Transplanted people decimated the animal populations and minimized the relationship between man and animal spirits. Thankfully with the persistence of the Native peoples and conservation efforts depending on one's point of view, relationships are rebuilding.
