Wow, great guitar solo! I just noticed that I have the same setup in my drums than SMs drummer. When I built my drums, I think that no one even thinks to have that kind of setup.

Triple tom holder. Quite a few companies had these in the 70s. Rogers Memriloc, Ludwig, and this Sonor example. Alan's was a Ludwig. These days people aren't as keen on putting all that weight on the bass drum, but things like racks weren't too common then either. Unless you rolled your own!

Actually (and I LOVE Wyatt), they were selling quite a few records to the then, brand new "Fusion" market... Tyhese were people in the seventies who were unsatisfied with the album oriented Rock FM stations after around 1974

John is not in allans class but then no one is. He is however a fine player in his own right, i always love checkin out his work. His time with S Grapelli is beautiful music
