No. You don't need to be Arab. Although this style of great music comes from Arabia, the Middle East, and Turkey, anyone who feels it in their heart and diligently studies the music and culture can play it. 95, don't listen to closed-minded, small people who want to try to possess all the beauty as if it was property.

Mashaallah, a great Musician. He is a living legend, I personnally is one of his oud student and I am proud of how he brought back the Oud reputation. I have watched him playing life. The experience is uplifting. he is a maestro, and I hope that we all learn from him and to all his events. It will remind us of the prestige of Oud Playing.May Allah protect him and all his givings.

The Best arabian Oud and violin player in my openion . would like to say also that we can compare arabian masters with turkish masters because there is not much deffrence between trukishand arabian music . and to Kamanjate .. its really doesnt matter if ur arab or whatever. im arab , and i saw many americans who can feel the taqseem and can really do it .. and from ur nickname and way of talking i can know that you are not a good violin player ... salam
