I wasn't really interested in the plugin because it didn't serve my purposes. Maybe 2.0 will. I'll have to try it out.

I might do a video tutorial sometime, but I don't have a lot of time right now. I'd much rather finish up the book and get some toys made :)

Simply fascinating, I burn with envy over your SketchUp skills. Awesome piece of work there mate. Google might want this as a promotional video perhaps? My respect for SketchUp just increased tenfolds. Would you ever consider making a video tutorial?

Yes, but you can do this in the free version as well. Take a look in the "About This Video" for links that explain the method.
