Faulty air-conditioning, big rock, safety features, manual overrides, exposure to elements - all these questions can equally be applied to conventional doors. As for the safety aspect, I am certain that the door has to conform to international safety standards before it can be allowed to be installed, including impact assessments and manual overrides.

what if there is a big rock under the car?
Ndriana (May 14, 2008 at 1:07 pm)
I would say why not but looks like technicaly it isn't possible to open one single door at a time. That means each time one person get off the car there will be a huge opening. It will be a "refreshing" experience in Russia or Canada.

This would be absolutely perfect. I'm also not a fan of doors or door dings. Even sliding doors would be an improvement. |
