tolerance of the world in general, i would think, tolerance goes hand in hand with understanding and also being able to step out of the picture and let the addict take responsibility for his or her own actions...you can carry the message, but not the addict...

Yes, I know about the "disease" theory. I've close ones going through it. And whose "tolerance" would be good to have?

gram parsons was an addicted person, it is a disease, one that many of us share, fans or not of his music, tolerance is a good thing to have..i was able to see Gram in Austin, Texas, in 1973...he was incredible..

I've heard so few FBB songs .. and even less video footage. This is awesome ... At least on this song, Flying Burrito Brothers are sort of a country-rock Velvet Underground.

everytime i see this,i miss gram parsons more and more....such a terrible waste when folks lose their lives to chemicals...i count myself, so far, among the lucky, being 9 months clean..

I mention my age because others had brought up how old they arereplys about this song. I grew up with this music but it seems to be growing in the hearts of younger people too!
