acjc competes on a different platform than the rest...there's no saying which one is cheaper or whatever rude words ... the point being there's a market to each form of dance and each jc caters to different audience, u may like ballet,i may like cabaret,he may like hiphop, she may like traditional ... by saying one dance is cheaper than another when both are grossly different clearly shows u r a dancer/audience without respect for the art

what are you trying to say man

ac people have too much pride man! there is no need to compare dancers against dancers. it's a matter of perspectives. then again, i heard this yr's judges were crappy. i would say each choreographer has his own good and bad points, so it depends on whether u belong to the fortunate year where the choreographer is in the right mind!

Yes this dance was definitely breathtaking, cos there was visual and aural contrast, and a clearly visible build up, and heart thumping music. And good use of the parasol to add to visual interest. There are just so many chanet turns I can take before yawning :P

First of all its hard to find your comment credible when you use terms 'professional' and 'expensive'; None of the JC dancers are professional, and you can have a dance production costing $1m and it can still suck. ACJC's 2005 piece was not my taste definitely, but in 2007 perhaps they found broadway fitted their style better. I certainly liked that dance much better :) then again its Bob Fosse! |
