The new 4cyl has 5-speed auto, 158hp...and thats still far from great power. The new accord 4 has 190hp, the altima has 175hp etc The camry 4 is probably the slowest in midsize class. But hey at least it gets a great gas miledge.

My mom purchased the 4 -speed auto and it has lots of power I was surprised. I have a 95 camry and it is still going strong and looks great you get alot for your money when you buy a toyota.

Get a Sonata SE V6 plus it comes with Stability control and road side assistance, the Camry may be hold its residual value better than the sonata in my save the 3,000 to 6,000 upfront.

In my opinion, the V6 is a better choice.The V6 has 268hp, thats 110 more hp than the 4cyl, yet only gets 2-3 mpg less. It has a smooth 6-speed auto. and it only costs $2600 more than the 4. In not many cars you can gain 110 horses with upgraded trans for $2600. The V6 is definetely a better deal

this report is biased,but they do back up most of their statements, except for LOOKS.The 2007+ Camry model is the BEST LOOKING MODEL design yet!! Not the ugly ass 2002-2006 model.

Don't buy the one with V6 engine, bacuse that engine is noisy, gas thirsty, oil leaky, shitty, lousy and crapy!!!!!It's a fucking bitch to working on that fucking piece of shit engine!!2AZ-FE engine, 4 cylinders, is a better engine, first came out at 2002, so far so good, even has less power than the V6, but it's very reliable and good on gas! One good thing about this engine, sludge build up is less prone on to found. |
