So, I did this video for a final project in one of my classes. It's kinda lame, but hopefully it helped some people figure out Remote Desktop. And I did use two different computers which explains the changing desktop (one for the Home computer, one for the Remote computer).

lmao yes it changed from the default media center theme to the ugly zune theme!...i think they just changed the wallpaper

That isint a flaw, That is the ip used thought a network such as a router or switch box!

Your IP is a gateway address. In order to access from a remote computer offsite, you will have to first configure the your gateway/router. Next you have to know your IP address that your internet provider provides you. It will work fine if you're on the same workgroup at home but it completely different configuration when you are really accessing the computer remotely.
