Ok, so technically you're saying that a fully modified GT-R will lack racing ability once they realize the full tuning potential? Well if tuning potential from past GT-R's is of any relevance, I'd say you're full of shit. Check out Veilsides R-34... Any motor that can be tuned to 1300 hp has racing potential to me, and FYI, that things gear ratios were tuned for drag racing (hence the low 200-210 mph top speed from a road test) so I'm positive it will have no issues competing with the Z06.

It might lose against a modded car, but very few factory spec cars will beat it, unless you have ten times more money to spend.
