As a long-time devotee of German romanticism, I'd basically ignored Louis Spohr as being "too classical" - until now. This along with his violin concerto #8 and later symphonies made me sit up and re-evaluate his work. Yes, Sabine's cute but give me a big, fat Valkyrie or Brunhilde any day of the week! If she can't pick me up with one arm or pin me on the ground and make me scream for mercy, then forget it (-:

This is more than one piece - there are many. This is a video about the CD they made.Spohr and Krommer are two different composers - both with different Concertos for two clarinets.
