The Japananese version is better but the dub is more to the point. I hate that they cut the tragic stuff and the fight with Darien but I'm glad they cut the part where Serenity and Beryl were talking with one another while blasting energy at each other. Saw enough of that watching DBZ.

Well, it depends on which company licenses it and how they take care of the dubbing. In this day in age now, Funimation would do things correctly when handling some anime like One Piece. The same thing would apply for Geneon when doing Trigun, or Bandai for Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star.

have you notice, that almoust all sailor scouts have returned from other side? died and alievd...i dont say anything bad i love sailor moon very much, but all sailor scouts have died atleast 3 times!!!!

That seems a little harsh. At least eeyoresbabynayie was nice about it. Nothign wrong with prefering the original over the editted version.

It's still pretty obvious that the Scouts are being killed off. The censoring still sucks but the core of the series still comes through if you're not too busy comparing it to the original. The friendship and sacrifices are still there.

I always think of this as the episode that cements Sailor Moon's strength. She realizes she can't just rely on the other scouts and that they need her as much as she needs them. I think it may also be the first time we see her go totally badass on someone for hurting her friends.

It's not like they're wrong. Of all the scouts Serena is the only one who's skill and dedication is in doubt. Although Luna still has confidence in Sailor Moon as she always has. |
