Did everybody see at 2:17 how hard the drive shaft of the Sti is oscillating...It takes more than a beginner driver to launch the EVO. I used to own a IX...

I like both cars... I have an Evo X and my buddy has an 08 STi... I bought the Evo mainly because of the pleasure of experiencing AYC and looks better IMO. He bought his because he thinks it looks better and needs the space of the Hatch... He launches harder and his stock transmission can take it so he's faster by a hair... I play it safe with launches because the 5spd (GSR) is known to be a little bit fragile. My car seems to be easier to drive faster in the canyons though....

just as i expected

I agree. Both cars are sick and it just comes down to what you like more. Both companies are trying to widen their appeal. The STi is more versitile and techie and the Evo has the twin clutch and looks better.
