The first song I ever heard by them, I was in love, in Cornwall, 1999, a misty late-autumn Saturday morning, we were driving down a narrow lane to a deserted cove. On the Ned Sherin radio show. Been a fan of EST ever since. So gutted. RIP Esbjorn.

I'm sitting here watching this in tears, having just heard the tragic news. RIP a truly great musician, whose playing I've enjoyed so much.

Great loss, but it makes me realize again that nothing in life should be taken for granted. Not only live your life but enjoy it, family friends and our nature are the greatest goods in life. This Conciousness I get sometimes keeps me moving@tapejunk & nOmad1337: I feel sry for your loss too, hope you found the strenght to go on, its always hard to loose your beloved ones...

I am sad to say that Esbjörn Svensson died yesterday (Saturday) afternoon in a diving accident. He will be missed! RIP

heh, strangely I was looking this song up for the same reason. That particular version even enhances that feeling. |
