Great gun. I still remember having a sore cheek after firing off a hundred rounds with my FN. Most reliable weapon I ever used.

I used them 20 years ago before the CND army went to pea shooters. FN is the BEST!

The SLR british variant is the best rifle. the 7.62 is unstoppable.

My rifle is reasonably accurate for what it is, a battle rifle assembled from 40 year old used parts. There are companies like DS Arms who make new build FAL's that are very accurate, again for a battle rifle. A good FAL is easily accurate enough to engage a man size target at 500 yards or a bit further. And it has the hitting power to be effective at that range. With all that said, it is not a snipers weapon.
