Obviously the Crusades were a justifiable "land war". And were instrumental to securing pilgrimages to the Holy Lands. We can, surely, both agree though that NO war is ever "Holy".And that there were atrocities committed by both sides. But, surely, now you can also see that it wasn't the Christians who "started" the Crusades.

Further, there is NO Biblical support for "Holy" wars. That was an idea that Pope Urban II "borrowed" from the Muslims themselves. In order to defend Constantinople (the capital of the Eastern Orthodox Church), unite Europe, and advance the Church's influence in Western politics Urban decreed that any who fought would go to Heaven. That is why the Crusades were an anomaly to Christianity.Whereas Jihad was how Islam was founded.

The first Crusade began in 1095 460 years after the first Christian city was overrun by Muslim armies, 457 years after Jerusalem was conquered by Muslim armies, 443 after Muslims first plundered Italy, 427 years after Muslim armies first laid siege to the Christian capital of Constantinople, 380 years after Spain was conquered by Muslim armies, 363 years after France was first attacked by Muslim armies, 249 years after Rome itself was sacked by a Muslim army.

Lol.So you wouldn't call the Islamic seidge of Constantinople instagation? And that was only the tip of the ice berge.Islam had been harassing Christians for centuries.Take note:

Over 50 years ago? Not at all matey, there were riots there as recently as 2005. It is still a source of debate as to whether they have disarmed yet. Where are you getting this bullshit from?

No, there was sectarian conflict between the Protestants and the Catholics in Northern Ireland. But that was over 50 years ago, and lasted only 36 years.Btw, more people died on the 9/11 (Islamic terror attacks) than in the 36 years combined.Further, the Protestant Reformation started in 1517. How could there be inter-Christian wars if there were only Catholics in Ireland? So I ask what does the wars between the Kings of England and the Kings of Ireland have to do with radical Islam?

YOU said "sectarian conflict"Therefore, it is you who is stupid. |
