Syd could not handle the pressure of stardom and the sporatic behavior was something much deeper. The drugs simply acted as a catalyst to further his illness and cause him to break away from the music scene back in the 60's. Syd was into painting and gardening after his music carreer. There will be a display of his personal affects in Oct/08 near his Cambridge home in the UK that will be lead by one of his sisters. Drugs alone did not cause his mental illness.

This is not a pink floyd song this was an attempt for a comeback and this was produced by David Gilmour and I think Gilmour plays on it!
