Uhh...sorry to burst your bubble bro, but Sid was never even recognized as being even close to competent with a bass. He was indeed the epitome of punk, but I can't agree that he was good at bass....When Steve Jones (guitarist of the Sex Pistols) was asked why he played the bass for the entire album "Never Mind The Ballocks" instead of Sid, his exact reply was "Sid was in the hospital with hepatitis, so he couldn't play. Not that he could play anyway..."

You can hear Sid play even on this clip. Listen carefully e.g. while Steve plays kind of a solo (1.20-1.40). Sid didn't play on the record, Steve laid the bass tracks, exactly as you stated.

sid never play the bass in the concert was off his amplifier study of the songs were recorded by the guitarist played bass and guitar. sid face of punk

sids alright but iy was fashion and image Glen was proberbly best musician, Sids image was what Glen haden't got but he coulden't play for somone who's been learning as they go along he is a fast learner but Paul from the Clash when they first started he learned as he went along as well now he's a really good bassist. So sorry to say this but Glen Wrote most of the songs sids soert of just stood there a took credit
