Johnny Mathis and Deniece Williams together was and is a very special combination. Not only did they record wonderful music together, they have remained very close friends, and whenever you see either of them in an interview they have such respect and admiration for each other. Some people think that Deniece is only known for this song and Let's hear for the boys. She went on to have several other hits and even won 4 Grammy Awards.

Johnny, we caught your show in Rama last week Aug 22nd, and were surprised to hear the superb quality of your voice was still intact. We grew up on your music, and our children and grandchildren still listen to your music. I don't know of any other artist who could please the tastes of three generations of listeners! Thank you.

(1of2)Starsky5000, yeah if you can call it singing, I like that (ha ha). It's more yelling than anything else but I do wish I was making the money these so called singers pull in today. I'm glad Johnny Mathis is still with us and I hope we have him around for many years to come. He's the last of the romantic, ballad singers. I know Tony Bennett still sings and tours but I never liked him much.

(2of2)Johnny still tours and performs and performs too. He can't hit all the high notes like he could when he was younger but the man is going to be 74 or 75 this coming September 30, I forget the year he was born. He still has a great voice, great personality and knows how to please and audience. And now and then, he does duets with other singers, what a treat.
