Look forward to seeing where Ricky P and Sachin end up. It's a shame Twenty20 wasn't around then. When Brian was 14/15 he was offered to a club as pro around here (England) and they said no, because they wanted an older guy to win games and get drunk with. LOL They missed the boat with that one. Cheers to a great cricketer and cricket in general!

Nice vid Flame! Would love to have seen his 501, I was playing down the road when that happened. I think Brian has to be one of the most exciting batsmen and when he gets going he is a mass scorer. Like the other guys here stated, there are some modern day greats like Sachin and Ricky. I remember having beers with Salil Ankola and he defended Sachin above Brian as best allround batsman to the max as he would, but Brian is still the crowd pleaser. I look forward to seeing (cont)

He was definitely one of the great ones but he didn't have 160km/h thunderbolts being shot at him like Lara and Tendulkar.
