This is by far the best anti-drug film I've ever seen. Nothing majorly over the top or far fetched. No adult narrator trying to use teen phrases. Just straight talk from former addicts , Donnie's mom and a cop. Very good sound track. Still holds up after all these years. Donnie is very skinny, but not too beat up in the face, so I doubt if he really is the addict, but you never know. I'd love to find out who Donnie B was (if he was real) and find out if he kicked or is dead or in jail.

ahhh right... i read about this film. It was ment to be an anti-heroin film but it just ended up showing millions of people how to go about scoring some smack.
