Although the 2007 was good, I enjoyed this version the most. Amanda Root and Cairan Hinds were brilliant.

i feel i should reiterate and say they were not described by Austen as physically attractive, obviously as characters they were lovely. :)

i think the reason for this is because in the book, neither character is attractive. the heroine is described as being somewhat plain.

I don't think these actors and actresses look old but, to be honest, they are rather unattractive. It doesn't matter, though. They're all very talented. |
