when i was in mexico, this kid james we prayed for got healed in front of my eyeshis feet were messed up, pionted inward and he had to use a walkerwe prayed for him and he said his feet were tingiling and for the first time in his life, they acutally touched the ground flatwe continued praying and brother kevin helped him walk and he was crying his eyes out, and he walked, in front of my eyes, im sure you dont believe me, but ive seen it with my own eyes

I disagree with most of what dennette says. Why on earth do we need to posit a particular unobervable entity, the meme, when we can get along explaining how we learn and behave without it. Also we accept words into our ontology because doing linguistics, the scientific study of language without them is impossible. Can we do biology, study cognition or even religion without memes? Yes, we can.
