Yeah because Snape giving the memory to Harry while he still alive makes sense, Harry hates the man i'm pretty sure he would as soon kill him rather than to hear what he had to say, or 'give' him as the case may be. Plus it would be very anitclimatic. But as i said before i cried, and still do cry, when i read Snape's death. I just don't think you could have him not die.
