i agree that it takes skill to build a car that will do 220mph, but the most limited skilled engineer and mechanic could make a car go 220mph with enough power at their disposal. the nurburgring challenges every aspect of a cars performance, thats supercars/sportscars etc are tested there and are judged on the lap times they achieve on the track. i have just checked the F1 top speed record, and it was 229mph at monza in 2004. i think th GP bikes reach 210-215mph so u r probably right there.

hahahahafifth gear is crap!!!!!! even though jason plato is a great driverbad car

It takes as much skill to design and build a car that will do 220. Depends on the track for F1 cars. They have adjustable aerodynamics. At a track with long straights they will be tuned for high top speed and beat the GP bikes.

how the fuck does it take as much skill to do 220mph on a straight, as it does to go round the nurburgring in 7.29???? moto gp bikes DO beat f1 cars on the straights. just compare the high speeds from places like catalunya and monza, f1 cars are not set up for the straights either.

hit the nail on the head on that one.

I understand lap times fag. Because I'm American doesn't mean shit. It takes as much skill to go 220 as it does to go 7:29 on Nurburgring. The ZR1 does both. It lapped in 7:26. Don't bring up the GT-R because even though it is fast it is gay. It drives itself. With AWD, 550-600hp and electronic aids it should do that. With that much power it shoud go 220. But it fails so lack of great design. Moto GP bikes don't beat F1 on straights. Iv seen races and the F1 out accelerates the GP bike.

the GT-R has just gone round the nurburgring in something like 7.29. that is an amazing time by an amazing car. just because it doesn't do 220mph, that means nothing. Formula 1 cars don't match moto gp top speeds on tracks, they just blow them away in corners. cars make the time through the corners, not the straights. if u were anything other than american u would understand this.

i dont think the zzr is officially the fastest road bike, people assume it is. i think its the most powerful. unless there is a website that proves it of course. i do agree with everything u have said though kinerzwwfc.
