They tried to keep it as similar as possible, but it is different. They are still legend. I say give it time. If/when they make album 15, we may see a greater maturity in their overall sound. This generation of the band have only been together for a year or less.

Good shit... A pretty solid album, not my favorite but man they did a lot of cool new stuff with their sound, this song is a testament to that.

man, that acoutic piece starting at 1:46 is very good. how do you write shit around that?! or how would you even layer that into the music? freaking genius..

Opeth...need I say more.No album sounds exactly the same. They've changed their style so many times, most people would find it appalling.I, on the other hand...find it absolutely epic. Because they don't change for the sake of change, they change to better their music. They take their music to new levels of brutality, sadness, and anger with every album.Keep it fuckin' metal, Opeth. \m/

Yeah man this is definetly my favourite from watershed. The riff at 00:32 is one of the best opeth riffs i've ever heard. So fucking brutal
kneebar1000 (June 27, 2008 at 1:44 pm)
Still bummed out that Martin (the drummer) left the band. His South American style of drumming was so amazing for Opeth.

This song is among the greatest i've ever heard...and opeth is the greatest death metal band ever! |
