Actually, dafunkmonster, people knew the earth was round long before the 1200s, if they didn't, navigation during sailing would have been impossible. The "everyone used to think they knew the earth was flat" idea is a flat-out myth. And dismissing scientific consensus as being completely meaningless because science is not infallible demonstrates what seems to be a rather skewed view of the scientific method, and science as a whole.

Google HAARP and read about the secret program's multiple international "superheaters" shooting holes or creating "bubbles" in the ionosphere, messing with the magnetosphere, and controlling the weather, tectonics, etc. for space based defense, death rays and mind control then we can have a better debate on climate change.

This is a useless debate. Watch the debate on the global climate "swindle".

Even if global warming does not exist why THE HELL SHOULD WE NOT CHANGE our ways we use resources.I think global warming is the way for mankind to change their ways.

OK..I'm a victim of typing too fast and not proofreading my writing. I know the difference between astronomy and astrology. ALSO, I do believe that LK wasn't interviewing him because he's an "expert" but because television producers use familiar faces to bring in different demographics and more viewers. BN is a scientist in my opinion.

I've looked at a lot of data (from real scientists, not politicians) and they support dafunkmonster's claims. The global warming alarmists aren't looking at ALL the data. They dismiss anything that doesn't support their computer models. lookup John Christy

This is very interesting.I'd really like to see demonstrated studies on the effects of desalination.

I think you folks need to take a look at this:watch?v=mF_anaVcCXgApparently all the insurance companies take it seriously, also a majority of the oil companies...but what do they know?
CityzenJane (August 8, 2008 at 8:58 am)
actually you don't need to 'believe' the science...as as most people don't they should use another method to assess the situationtry this:watch?v=mF_anaVcCXg |
