H21 Helicopter Controlled Crash Tests (video only)

These are intentional crashes of remote-controlled vehicles! Some people seem to not bother reading the text here that explains that...Sometime in the 1960s (I believe) the army conducted a series of crash tests using H21 helicopters. Though these tests did yield some information about the crashworthiness of the helicopter itself, the main purpose was to test passenger and cargo restraint systems and learn how to improve them. I should note that the fourth shot is not an outtake from a Godzilla movie, even though it sure looks like it...

It is not radio controlled, but remotely controlled on the ground through the wires hooked up to the rear of the helicopter.
