It takes more than one hit... I'm a locksmith and believe me it takes more than one hit... Unless you're doing it to a piece of junk lock like a Kwikset.

An open lock like that is perfect to practice lockpicking with, as you can see what your doing. This kind of reminds me of lockpicking in Oblivion.
