Excellent Trailer.

What someone should do is remake the mallory version, but make everything else (the clothes, weapons, etc.) historically accurate.

It's a brilliant film, but what ruins it is sometimes you can see the reflection of the camera crew on their armour.

Actually, the 2004 version was NOT historically accurate. It compressed events taking place over about 90 years into less than a week and combined two historical figures living 300 years apart into one Arthur. However, it WAS more historically accurate than Excalibur, but both are reasonably good at doing what they set out to do (Excalibur as the legend, King Arthur as the history; King Arthur wasn't specifically accurate but it got the feel of the times and was closer to what probably happened.

Again. Great edit. Excalibur is one of my favorite films.

I have to agree with you on that. the 2004 version was being historically acurate. there was roman-brit general named Arturius, bu tthe excalibur version is based on sir thomas mallory. It was meant to inspire not to be historically acurate. As arthur said : He was the dram of future memory. Yet excalubur, visually was stunning. In the end its like comapring apples ot oranges
