You'll never seen another finals like that. I feel like I'm watching the WWE every time I watch a game now. Let's see some blood. Let's see guys giving everything they have. It's all about coaching now and who makes the first mistake. In '94 it was about who wanted it more, who was the best team. The best part is, I don't think that was ever settled. But I'll take any version of Trevor over any version of Messier any day. That guy makes you proud to be a hockey fan.

That Rangers Canucks final was the most exciting I've ever seen, with both teams playing up to, and even beyond their abilities. It was tough to watch the Canucks lose, especially Trevor, but New York was full value for the win, and I won't subscribe to baseless accusations of game fixing. If you think the finals were fixed then provide proof, otherwise please do not crap on my memories surfer53.

That comment by Bob Costas is way off base. The Canucks may have been underdogs, but it wasn't that big a spread between the two teams. The Canucks may have overachieved, but they had earned just as much the right to be there as the Rangers did. I still think there was a funny business going on in the finals to help the Rangers win...and I'm not a sore loser.
