we went quite far from the original problem... most of ME currencies are pegged to US-Dollar, most ME nations should be reach thanks to oil, very few ppl there really benefit from it. the same in Africa but in relation to diamonds - if you happened to live where they are you are not going to benefit from it, as a matter of fact you will probably get killed....

You can say what you want about why we are in Iraq but regardless we are already there. What alot of people don't know is the New Iraq Dinar notes are backed by an American dollar 1200dinar-1$the Iraqs have embraced the new currancy and they can ownly boost it's worth by selling there oil in dollar currancy and when they do that america will have cheap oil and the Iraq people will enjoy wealth never before seen in the mideast. The More american dollars they make will bolster Dinar value

Jason23296: I generally agree UN is slow in many instances, on the other hand they have some effective humanitarian aid programms (to some of them I personally donate). The legal problem for USA is that it is a member of UN since 1945. It simply has to follow UN rules, or step out. Saying that US went to Iraq to prevent genocide is top class hipocracy. Many reasons were given but not this one. There are some African countries that need this kind of action more by far.

America does not need to listen to the UN because the UN is a joke. If the UN was really about stopping terrorism and genocide they would of sent troops to Durfur already.Also many of the nations like Saudi Arabia,pakistan,India,And China who are in the UN treat there people like animals. The UN is a joke. The UN has intervened before in africa and every time they bankrupt the third world governments because they expect to be payed for the money they spend on intervention missions.

jason23296: Just to make it clear I'm not against US in general. Actually my values, lifestyle is by far much closer to American then Arab, or any other. I simply think that going to Iraq was a dead wrong decision, there is a small group of ppl who did it on purpose of profiting at the expense of both American ppl and Iraq.

Please note that according to int. law war is legal if in self defence or under UN mandate. In case of 2nd war in Iraq none was present. On the other hand there are many different ways to prevent genocide - if it was only the true reason for the invasion.
