Very nice rendition... I've been watching Lawrence Welk clips all week... Brings back memories. I really didn't (or couldn't) appreciate how entertaining that show was as a kid!

Interesting to note that Mr. Ralston played a Thomas on screen but the audio came from a Hammond. Bob was a paid Thomas celebrity but the Hammond sound was preferred. All Welk shows were videoed first with casual audio. Better sound was then recorded and synched in a separate studio. This made for higher quality.I sure do like your playing!

A LARGE LOL! You hit it on the nose! The keys became so slippery I couldn't play and had to move the 'bubble machine' over and the camera back so the bubbles fell between the keys and the camera. Still, a big mess!

Love that sense of humor & your style! I never get tired of listening or watching. Didn't the keys get a little slippery though?*chuckles*

I remember when Jerry Burke died, he took that Hammond with him. I sorta hated to see it go, but Bob Ralston could sure make that Thomas sing!

Thank-a u Steve-a - I saw a little of the Welk show the other day. They mentioned that Bob Ralston was playing a new organ. It was a Hammond but I am not sure what model. It looked a little like a Concorde but had a row of push button presets below the upper and lower key boards. This was a later show so I assume it replaced the Thomas. I never knew they went back to a Hammond.

Excellent! Jerry Burke and Bob Ralston would be very proud.
