It makes me physically ill to think of the mega-talent within these players and they didn't "make it". Watching this video makes me really sad that they are gone...at least we have this! HEY! At least I got the ltd. box set too so I can fill my Jelly tank as needed. Man, what a band....great thieves too!! (in a good way)

My old friends band is similar to Jellyfish. Lollipop Factory, from Columbus Ohio. Checkem out!

For anyone amazed at the ridiculous talent of Jellyfish, do yourself a favor and check the self-titled 1st release by 'Toy Matinee'. TM was primarily Patrick Leonard and the late, great Kevin Gilbert. This release alone would accord similar status as Spilt Milk. Follow that with 'The Shaming of the True' by Kevin Gilbert - his posthumous rock/pop masterpiece. Both releases are largely unknown, which is as large a crime as the demise of Jellyfish.

Spilt Milk deserves to mentioned in the same breath as Pet Sounds or A Night at the Opera for being one of the greatest pop/rock recordings ever made!

Haha, I think you mean Puffy Ami Yumi, not Puffy Daddy, though I'd love to hear that team up! |
