reasonably well put, but his point was that he would JOIN a conflict like WWI- and it's true, people joined WWI in their thousands because they didn't know the reality of war, or they were swept up in patriotism and popaganda or they simply got drafted into conscription. As for the causes of WWI, it was an amalgamation of factors BUT German overambtion due to its vastly increased strength following the Franco-Prussian war is considered by many a key factor. What you say is largely true however.

WW1? Seriously? This shows a good deal about your ignorance of history. WW1 is probably the most pointless war ever fought. It all started because some serbian prince was assasinated and then escalated because of entangling alliances. There was no real agressor nation, there was no single guilty party. It was just pointless killing due to the fact that everyone felt honor bound to jump in when their allies did.

This is fucked up. why the hell are we BUYING oil from arabs...who take that money and buy more weapons..it is just stupid...America should start getting oil off the Gulf of Mexico, but no...we have to buy...and whats worse...china and cuba are getting the oil from the gulf...it is sad, situation in Iraq is sad, really.
